Updates and Stuff

Ugh. It's June already and... I have only released one book so far this year. And that was a Shylyn Ray book. A great book, one I absolutely adore, but I know the majority of my readers want more paranormal goodness!

I am working on Hellified right now. It's the 2nd book in the Hellacious series. If you've read all the Twice Bitten books so far, you know Dulce Malvada has entered the world of Twice Bitten and has a task to complete before Danni and Rider can move forward with the big important thing they must do so... I have to write THAT before I write the next Twice Bitten book. SO....

I just released S'more to Love (Cupid's Bottom #2, written as Shylyn Ray)

I am currently writing Hellified (Hellacious #2) and What's the Matter, Cupcake? (Cupid's Bottom #3) because the Cupid's Bottom series is flowing really well for me right now and I don't want to pump the brakes but I KNOW YOU WANT THE TWICE BITTEN WORLD so I'm writing those two books at the same time. This is why I have no vacation plans this year (all my vacation time from the day job is going toward writingfests and my son's wedding) and look like an exhausted raccoon.

I have an actual deadline for Elvis Purrsley #3 since that is actually up for preorder (I had started writing it immediately after finishing the 2nd book but...got a little stuck and set it aside to write S'more to Love) so I will be jumping back into that immediately after finishing Hellified and What's the Matter, Cupcake?

BIG NEWS!

I received word that the publisher of Blood Curse and Slayer's Prey (Blood Revelation 1 & 2) is SHUTTING DOWN! All books published through them will be removed from publication and rights reverted to the authors. This means that at some point this year I will be getting the rights back to Blood Curse and Slayer's Prey, and I will FINALLY be able to publish them myself with new cover art and I can update them (Let's just say the editing phase on Slayer's Prey was a BATTLE) so just a head's up that will take some time as I'll have to dig up the manuscripts in my old files and go through the whole editing process on those again. But I will finally have complete control over them and they can once again be grouped with the rest of the books as ONE SERIES instead of the first two books being "Blood Revelation" and the rest being called "Blood Revelation Prophecy." And I will be updating the cover art on ALL the books so they have a nice unified look.

Since I will be spending time republishing some of the Blood Revelation books and rebranding the whole series, this will take away time from writing new material so don't kill me for saying this, but... Danni won't be returning until 2026. I had a very rough start this year. There have been a lot of health issues, family changes and life events combined with several months of feeling really low and uninspired. I'm finally feeling more productive creative-wise so I'm going to do as much as I can but between my job that actually keeps me fed and sheltered, and soooo many life events occurring this year, time is not plentiful.

If Time Allows.... Tony has been "speaking" to me. If I can squeeze out his story (another "From the World of Twice Bitten" book , like Rider's), I will get that out. It's still coming to me in bits and pieces. It will be told from his POV and, well... Tony's not a very friendly, huggable guy. His POV is... interesting....
