January 2022 - What's Going On.

I have big, big goals this year, with projects marked out for every month. I want to write and release a LOT of books, but not just as me. My first project of the year is launching my Shylyn Ray pen name.

I'm separating my contemporary romances from my paranormal romance. The first step in doing that was creating the pen name, Shylyn Ray. The second step was getting the rights back on my novellas that were previously traditionally published.

Step three... is turning those novellas into novels. I've already taken care of one, and I love it. It's got so much more depth to it. I loved diving back into it and revealing more of the hero and heroine.

Guardian Cowboy will now be "Her Guardian Cowboy." Presley and Amber are such great characters, especially now that I got to flesh them out more. Novellas were the hot thing back when I originally envisioned the couple's first meeting so I had to write their love story very tight and straight to the point. Even if you read it when it was origianlly published, you can read this updated and lengthened version and get so much more out of it.
