Like most authors, I LOVE to read, and I love to share when I find books or authors I love, as well as anything else. If you're looking for something new to you, here's what I recommend (updated as often as I discover or remember new recommendations) :
Liliana Hart is one of my new favorite authors. Her JJ Graves series is dark and intriguing. The Addison Holmes series is similar to Stephanie Plum... except Addison actually chooses a man. Love them both. The boxed sets are great deals.
If you're looking for a series with a ton of laughs, look no farther. Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series is one of life's greatest joys. Also, Ranger is my fictional husband. Lovvvvvvve Ranger.
JR Rain is mostly known for his popular Sam Moon series, but Jim Knighthorse has always been my favorite. I love a cocky wiseass with a heart of gold.
Another series I love is Kristen Painter's Nocturne Falls series. Set in a town that is decked out for Halloween 365 days a year to help paranormals hide in plain sight, this cute series features a new couple in every book, but we still get to visit with previous characters throughout. There is also the Jayne Frost series of paranormal cozy mysteries set in Nocturne Falls featuring Jayne Frost, an elf princess originally from the North Pole and a very famouus family ;) Both series can be read separate but there is a timeline on the author's site if you want to read them both in order. There's a few times these two series converge a little.
The late L.A. Banks's Vampire Huntress series will suck you right in. Years ago, a friend lent me the first book, promising I'd love it and she was so right. I read it in a day and ordered the rest that were available.
The first vampire romance novel I ever read was Twilight Hunger by Maggie Shayne and I've been hooked since.
Jack Wallen's reapers are FUN, and I swear Grim reminded me so much of Daniel in the opening chapter. I love wiseasses!
Every time I read a Saranna Dewylde book I feel like a no-talent hack. Fairy Godmothers Inc is one of her newest series, very charming and cute, but the woman can write anything and do it amazingly.
Dakota Cassidy's Marshmallow Hollow Mysteries is one of the cutest, most charming series I have ever read. I am obsessed with it and so happy she'll be writing more.
I've never been a big fan of werewolves (except the ones I write, of course) but Keri Arthur knocked it out of the park with her Riley Jensen Guardian series. I remember working in a collections call center reading these while taking calls. Haha. I could not put them down.
